Happy New Year!

It's that time again, folks. I hope you are ready to join the fun at
the
2008 Los Angeles Marathon, held on Sunday, March 2nd. We really
appreciate your interest in helping make this year뭩 Los Angeles
Marathon a success. I will be in contact with all registered
participants in the next couple weeks or so, to set up the date, time,
and location for the Ham Radio Orientation meetings. I am tentatively
looking at two meetings, one on a weekday evening, Wednesday or
Thursday, and one on a Saturday evening. This year the meetings will be

at a new location and the details have not been finalized yet. More to
come as soon as I know. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to

making the 2008 Los Angeles Marathon even better than 2007. Please feel

free to share this information at your club meetings and with other
interested Hams. If you would like me to come by your meeting and make
a
personal appeal for volunteers, let me know and I'll try to make it, if

I have enough notice. Currently there are several folks already signed
up, so if you are one of them, you don't need to do so again. I just
sent this email to everyone I have an email address for. I'm looking
forward to seeing you all soon.
